Do you know where your food comes from? Join us for our annual Seminole County Farm Tour for 2024!

Seminole County Farm Tour 2024

Learn all about agriculture and how your food is grown. This full-day event is a wonderful opportunity to meet, support, and learn from your Seminole County farmers.

$60 includes a seat on charter bus, tour guide, farmer led visits, lunch, and an unforgettable day! The only way to enjoy the full service farm tour experience is to pre-register and get your seat on the bus. Space is limited!

A big THANK YOU to Seminole County Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau Insurance for their sponsorships to make this event possible!

What to Expect

This is a farm tour, so we will be outside driving and walking on a variety of surfaces including uneven and unpaved terrain. Expect to walk around 1.5-2.5 miles over the course of the day. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and attire, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses too! Be prepared for rain with an umbrella or poncho. You may have an opportunity to purchase some goods at the local farms, so come prepared (ie. cooler, money, etc.), but consider space on the bus. Remember, you can always go back to visit the farms that sell direct to the public... in fact, we encourage it!

💐Spring Festival & Easter Egg Hunt (Mar 24)

Hours: 12pm - 4pm

Where: Green Acres Farm of Oviedo / Geneva

Information provided by Green Acres Farm:

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:
We are a VERY small homestead. We host these events because we thoroughly enjoy sharing our farm with the community. With that being said, we are NOT pre-selling tickets this year. But parking is extremely limited. People will be coming and going throughout the event, but I cannot guarantee that everyone who shows up will have a parking spot to be able to attend. I can’t control that, folks. So, just keep that in your mind. Carpool, if you can. And understand that we do the best we can but won’t be able to make everyone happy. This is our most popular event of the year.

Tickets are $15 per child and $7 per adult. You can pay Cash or Zelle when you get here. Understand that if you are paying Zelle, it may take a few minutes longer to check-in. We do NOT take credit cards!
Included with your ticket:
* Easter Egg Hunt (1 Egg Hunt per Child)
* Pet and Feed the Farm Animals
* Bounce House
* Arts & Crafts (for the kiddos to do)

Add-ons:
* $10 Pony Rides (Thanks to Woodbury Farms)
~Children must be under 100 pounds
~We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot follow safety rules or who we deem is a danger to the animals

ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE:
We are changing the way we do the Easter Egg Hunt this year. It will be a continuous hunt, with new children being allowed out to collect eggs every 15 to 20 minutes. They’ll be allowed to find 10 (empty) eggs, which they can turn in for a few prizes. Each child is only allowed to do the egg hunt 1 time! The Egg Hunts will run from 12:30 to 3:30pm.
